The Warrington Swimming and Water Polo Club aims to teach swimming in a safe, child friendly environment, to develop children’s water skills and introduce them to appropriate development and competitive pathways, including young people volunteering in sport, so that swimming and its other disciplines provides a life-long skill that is fun and supports a healthy lifestyle.

Where we train?

The Club is now open for all sessions. Trials are now being held for those swimmers on the waiting list. There is a long waiting list for the Swim Academy- it may take several months before space becomes available. Why not volunteer and help?

If your child is over four years old and reached Learn to Swim stage 4 or above our Swim Academy helps them transition to the main pool. For further details click here SWIM ACADEMY

Latest Swimming News.

Swim sessions will recommence Friday 4th September

Whilst Woolston is closed for repairs and maintenance we are holding our Friday session at Great Sankey 7-8pm.

Whilst the small pool is closed at Orford we have adjusted swim lanes to accommodate the Academy on Sunday morning, and added the small pool for both sessions at Great Sankey 7.00-8.00pm for the Academy.

While Broomfields is closed, we have amended the timing of swimming to 7.00-8.00pm with water polo following straight afterwards

The coaches are looking at a structured programme for the year, which means that all sessions in a particular week will aim to follow a particular stroke or theme.
