CHRISTMAS BREAK
Our last Livewire Swimming and Water Polo session will be on Wednesday 17th December at Orford
with the first session back on Wednesday 7th January 2026.
Our last Swim session at Great Sankey will be Tuesday 16th December with the first session back on Friday 9th January 2026.
Our last Water Polo session at Lymm will be Monday 15th December with the first session back on Monday 12th January.

Whilst Woolston is closed for repairs and maintenance, our Friday session has moved to Great Sankey from September 5th 2025

Swimming sessions start at all pools from Sunday 5th January
Water polo starts at Orford on Wednesday 8th January and at Lymm on Monday 3th January
Wednesday 18th December last session for both swimming and water polo.
Swimming returns Sunday 5th January 2025,
Water polo returns Wednesday 8th January 2025.
The small pool at Orford has been closed due a failure of the moveable floor, so all water polo sessions from 7pm-8pm on a Wednesday will not take place until this is fixed. For the first week at least, Sunday October 20th we have moved both our Sunday sessions to Woolston so that we can continue to offer sessions in the small and main pool.
Wednesday sessions in the main pool for swimming and water polo will carry on as normal. Will provide an update once we know the timescales for the small pool at Orford to be back in operation
The Orford pool has now reopened so our sessions are back to normal for swimming and water polo
We have been informed that the Orford pool will be closed on August 27th for a number of weeks so that essential maintenance can take place, This means there will be no swimming or water polo at Orford during this period.,
Swimming will restart in September at Woolston and Great Sankey as noted below,. Water Polo will restart at Lymm in September.
The Sunday morning swim sessions for the small and large pools will move to Woolston while Orford is closed. There are also extra water polo sessions on a Sunday at Lymm
Swimming will restart at Woolston on Fridays 6th September 7.00 -8.30pm
Swimming in both pools at Woolston on Sunday morning 8th September and 15th September 8.0am-9.00am.- Other Sundays to be advised
Swimming will restart at Great Sankey on Tuesday 10th September 7.00-8.00pm
Water Polo extra sessions at Lymm 12-15-1-15pm for U15 and U17 age groups on 8th September and 15th September. Other Sundays to be advised
Water Polo at Lymm U13 and beginners 6.30-7.30pm; U15 and U17 7.30-8.30pm from Monday 9th September
Once we have an opening date for Orford then we will et know,.
Over the summer we have a break from swimming with the last session on Friday 26th July, with sessions returning as normal On Wednesday 4th September. Water Polo will continue and if you fancy having a go then come along On Wednesday at 7pm or Saturday 4pm for an hour at the Orford pool or contact Neil Musgrove if you need more details.
