U12 Friendly vs Bridgefield

The U12 team were keen to get some match practice before the season starts and to keep their eye in whilst we wait for resolution on junior water polo in Warrington. With this in mind they travelled to Bridgefield on Thursday night.

Report by D. Williams

The friendly went really well. Bridgefield were well organised and drilled, while our emerging side showed good promise for the future.
We played some single period matches so scores did not deplete confidences. The first finishing 7-1, the next 5-0 then we held a 1-2 win due to some of our our old squad pulling together.
Some players who showed quality, Eleanor Brear for some excellent goal keeping, Louis Stowels for shear heart for taking on more physically superior players. Everyone played fantastically, never being deflated by scorelines, just enjoying the experience, Bullying the coach to get back in the water.
Well done U12’s
