Warrington Senior and Junior Teams Triumph in Liverpool and District Water Polo Championships

	Liverpool and District Water Polo Champions The Warrington senior team have won the Liverpool & District trophy after playing three games at the weekend against top flight opposition. This was a tremendous achievement as this is the first time the team has won the first division championship for many years. Warrington 16 and under team Sweep the Board Warrington played in a tournament which counted for the Cheshire County and Liverpool and District trophies for the 16 and under age group.

The first session will start on Monday 24th September 2007. The initiative is part of an activity partnership being funded through the School / Club link programme and the Warrington Swimming Club. The aim of the club is to:-

	Promote the teaching and the practice of swimming.
	Promote the teaching and the practice of the game of Water Polo.
	Promote and conduct annually swimming championships.
	Raise public awareness of the sport and stimulate public opinion in favour of providing suitable accomodation and facilities
