Land Training
The main purpose of land training is to ensure good muscle balance to minimise injury risk and establish good posture for efficient stroke.
The sessions are also used to improve strength and conditioning. Although swimmers must replicate their actions in the water as closely as possible in any land exercise.
These aims are acheive by core stability, flexibility and plyometric work, using equipment such as gym or medicine balls, steps and bungee cords.
Dates are arranged on a monthly basis around galas and other training.
